Aston Martin proudly announces the arrival of the new flagship of its SUV range — the DBX S.
Building on the dynamic allure of the DBX707 and featuring a power unit derived directly from the technology developed for the upcoming Valhalla supercar, the DBX S delivers more power, less weight, and a bolder design — offering one of the most thrilling and responsive driving experiences ever created.
With a series of enhancements inside and out, the DBX S establishes a distinct and undeniable identity of its own.
Continuing Aston Martin’s long-standing ‘S’ designation used for exclusive, high-performance versions of existing models, the DBX S follows in the footsteps of the Vanquish S, first unveiled at the 2004 Paris Motor Show. Lighter, stronger, and more powerful, the DBX S reaffirms that such high-performance variants remain a core part of Aston Martin’s production vision and a continuation of its strong model heritage.
A Statement from Aston Martin CEO Adrian Hallmark
“Over the past two years, Aston Martin has introduced a new core collection of next-generation sports cars — all developed in-house and equipped with our entirely new infotainment system — along with a new DBX. We continue to focus on class-leading performance, ultra-luxury design, and innovation, building an expanding product portfolio beneath each main model.
The launch of the DBX S not only reaffirms our commitment to creating the most thrilling, satisfying, and beautiful cars but also represents a powerful vision statement for both the DBX line and the Aston Martin brand as a whole.”
Powertrain and Performance
At the heart of the new DBX S lies an enhanced version of Aston Martin’s acclaimed 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine.
Thanks to turbocharger technology derived directly from the upcoming Valhalla supercar, featuring larger compressor wheels and a range of internal upgrades, the engine’s output has been boosted by 20 PS, reaching 727 PS.
This improvement provides greater acceleration at higher revs, making the DBX S’s performance even more exhilarating. The result is a 0–100 km/h time of just 3.3 seconds, with the 0–200 km/h sprint shortened by 0.3 seconds.
Top speed remains an impressive 310 km/h (193 mph).
